What Patients Are Saying

  • Dr. Charlot is kind, understanding, and very knowledgeable about allergies. She was the first doctor I have had who genuinely listened to me and my experiences, and I felt truly taken care of at that office. I’d recommend her to anyone who suffers from allergies and wants to get answers and relief!

    — Dasha

  • This place is excellent. The doctors are kind and very attentive and worked through several asthma medications with me until we found the right one. Special mention goes to Nadia in the office who went above and beyond to help me get my medication before a big trip after my healthcare made a mistake processing things. She was patient and kind and really saved the day. Thanks AACB!

    — Matthew Smith

  • I had an awesome experience. Everyone was friendly and the PA I met with was extremely knowledgeable, and a great listener.

Find out what allergies you have

The best way to test for allergies is a skin prick test typically placed on the back or forearm. To do a skin prick test the surface of the skin will be cleaned then pricked with a tiny amount of an allergen (such as a pollen or a food) on the skin. Our clinicians typically use multi-tests as opposed to individual pricks so that if needed, multiple allergens can easily be tested all at once.  This is great for testing babies and young children, although adults appreciate that too! The clinician then waits 15-30 minutes to see if a red, raised bump, called a wheal, forms. If it does, this could be a sign of an allergy. The wheal and flare usually go away in about an hour.
