DR. CHARLOT


Dr. Cascya Charlot is an award-winning, Harvard Medical School-trained physician who is double board-certified in pediatric/adult allergy and immunology and internal medicine. She currently heads the pediatric allergy division at New York Presbyterian Methodist Hospital where she regularly teaches other doctors and lectures on topics related to allergies. She is the founder and medical director of the Allergy and Asthma Care of Brooklyn and of Purely Natural Medical Spa (Purelynaturalspa.com) which offers a skin care line for patients with allergy prone and sensitive skin.

  • Dr Charlot sits on the advisory board of Dr.B where she was instrumental in creating their allergy and asthma treatment options. She is the creator of LoveThatPeanut! a peanut supplement to facilitate introduction of peanut protein in babies. Dr. Charlot has been featured on ABC news, NBC news, the Daily News, NY1 and various other media outlets. Throughout her career, she has received numerous accolades including the prestigious Patients' Choice "Most Compassionate Doctor” award. She has received the Patient’s Choice Award 10 years in a row, has been named Castle Connolly Top Doc 5 years in a row and was featured in The NY Times as a “Super Doctor”. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology and a member of the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. Dr Charlot became passionate about the field of allergy and immunology while working on PMTCT (Prevention of Mother To Child Transmission of HIV) as a consultant for the United Nations in 2001. Dr Charlot is Haitian and comes from a family of doctors. She is the proud mother of two young children and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and family.

Dr. Sairaman Nagarajan


The Allergy and Asthma Care of Brooklyn is thrilled to introduce our new allergist, Dr. Sairaman Nagarajan. Dr. Nagarajan is double board-certified in Adult/Pediatric Allergy & Immunology and in Pediatrics. He received his Master in Public Health (MPH) in epidemiology from Rutgers University where he graduated with high honors. He then completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in genomics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Nagarajan completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric/Adult Allergy and Immunology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center where he received the prestigious Robert F. Furchgott Scholar award for outstanding contributions to scientific research.

  • Dr. Nagarajan has over 11 years of clinical study and clinical practice experience. He previously worked as the Allergy/Immunology clinical lead for the WHO Global Clinical Management Team of the World Health Emergencies Programme (WHEP) where he helped co-write official WHO reports on COVID-19 at the global, regional and national levels as well a report on HIV-SARS-CoV-2 coinfection. Additionally, he worked as a clinical consultant for SuKriBu Platforms where he provided expertise in literature searches/interpretation and authored clinical study protocols (CSP) for COVID-19 related projects. Dr. Nagarajan has served as either the principal or co-investigator for over 20 clinical studies, with numerous peer-reviewed publications, oral presentations at international scientific conferences, and press releases for the media.

    Dr Nagarajan is proud to be bringing his many years of experience and expertise as a full-time allergist at the Allergy and Asthma Care of Brooklyn. Dr Nagarajan lives in Brooklyn. During his time off, Dr. Nagarajan likes to garden, travel and read. He also loves trivia games.
